He specializes in treating abdominal and liver disorders, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s Disease and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
Dr. Friedrich began his career after earning his degree from Albany (N.Y.) Medical College. He completed his residency at New York’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine and his fellowship at New York’s Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He then worked on advanced endoscopic procedures in Europe.
Dr. Friedrich is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association. He has several articles published in peer-review publications, and is a past president of the N.J. Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Society.
He has been named a Top Doctor by Castle and Connolly for several years.
