GI leader to know: Dr. George Zahrebelski of Digestive Disorder & Liver Center

George Zahrebelski, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Hoffman Estates, Ill.-based Digestive Disorder & Liver Center.

Dr. Zahrebelski specializes in performing endoscopies, colon cancer screenings, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopies among others.

He began his career after earning his medical degree from Chicago-based University of Illinois. He completed an internship and residency at Chicago-based Westside Veterans Hospital before completing a fellowship at Chapel Hill-based University of North Carolina Hospital.

Dr. Zahrebelski is affiliated with AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, Ill.
