GI leader to know: Dr. Francis Farraye of Boston Medical Center

Francis Farraye, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Boston Medical Center.

Dr. Farraye serves as co-director of the Center for Digestive Disorders in Boston.

He earned his medical degree from New York City-based Albert Einstein College of Medicine He completed a residency and fellowship at Boston-based Beth Israel Hospital.

Dr. Farraye has a special interest in ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease and inflammatory bowel disease.

He is an avid researcher and has conducted several clinical trials.

Dr. Farraye is also a professor of medicine at Boston University.
