GI leader to know: Dr. Eric Shapiro of University Hospitals Cleveland

Eric Shapiro, MD is a gastroenterologist at University Hospitals of Cleveland.

Dr. Shapiro is the medical advisor for MedPilot, a patient financial engagement platform.

He is also the interim chairman and former chief of staff at University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center, and a partner at Endoscopy Center of Bainbridge and Suburban Endoscopy Center.

Dr. Shapiro is an assistant clinical professor at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine.

He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
