Dr. Howell is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
His career began after he earned his medical degree from Philadelphia’s Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship at Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Howell is a clinical associate professor at Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Howell serves on the editorial review board of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and is a sub-editor of UpToDate.
He is a well-respected researcher and has been honored by several organizations.
