GI leader to know: Dr. David Rubin of The University of Chicago

David Rubin, MD, is a gastroenterologist with The University of Chicago Medicine.

Dr. Rubin specializes in inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and colon cancer among others.

He began his career after earning his degree from The University of Chicago. He stayed at the university for his internship, residency and fellowship.

Dr. Rubin is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and several other professional societies.

He performs clinical research related to inflammatory bowel disease outcomes, focusing on cancer prevention.
