GI leader to know: Dr. Cynthia Yoshida of the University of Virginia Health System

 
Cynthia Yoshida, MD, is a gastroenterologist at the Charlottesville-based University of Virginia Health System.

Dr. Yoshida focuses her clinical practice on upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, colon cancer and flexible sigmoidoscopy.

Dr.Yoshida is a fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association, and has served on committees for the AGA. She has also been an active member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.

She wrote No More Digestive Problems, the AGA’s first consumer book on women’s digestive health.
