GI leader to know: Dr. Carol Burke of Cleveland Clinic

Carol Burke, MD, is the director of the center for colon polyp and cancer prevention at Cleveland Clinic.

She also has responsibilities as the polyposis section head and co-director of the Sanford R. Weiss, MD, Center for Hereditary Colorectal Neoplasia.

Dr. Burke has also taken on leadership roles outside of Cleveland Clinic, and served a term as president of American College of Gastroenterology. She is also a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American College of Physicians.
