Dr. Gessner began his career after earning his medical degree at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Durham, N.C.-based Duke University.
Dr. Gessner is board certified in gastroenterology, internal medicine and as a medical examiner.
He is a member of several professional societies including the American Gastroenterology Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Gessner practices out of the main office of LeBauer HealthCare.
