GI leader to know: Dr. Bitman Stewart of Digestive Care

Bitman Stewart, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Coral Springs, Fla.-based Digestive Care.

Dr. Stewart specializes in therapeutic endoscopy, colon cancer and Esophageal cancer screening.

His career began after he earned his medical degree from New York School Medical College in New York City. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at New York University.

Dr. Stewart is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish and has been in practice since 1990.
