GI leader to know: Dr. Adam Slivka of UPMC

Adam Slivka, MD, PhD, is the associate chief of clinical affairs at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine’s division of gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition.

Dr. Slivka also serves as an assistant professor for the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

He earned his medical degree at the New York City-based Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the Boston-based Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Slivka is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology.
