GI leader to know: Dr. Adam Slivka of the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center

Adam Slivka, MD, PhD, is associate chief of clinical services for the UPMC division of gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition.

He also is a professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Dr. Slivka earned his medical degree at New York City-based Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Boston-based Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology.
