GI education, research facility opens in Kentucky — 3 insights

Mohammed Kazimuddin, MD, opened Western Kentucky Heart, Lung and Gastroenterology Associates in Bowling Green, Ky., local news affiliate WNKY reports.

1. Dr. Kazimuddin opened the center to advance collaboration and quality-related research efforts in Bowling Green.

2. The facility includes cardiology equipment, patient rooms and a 250-seat auditorium for research symposiums, training opportunities and community events.

3. Dr. Kazimuddin developed the facility over nearly 17 years.

"That's my intention: to provide good care, quality care, bring new innovation technology to the town. … It has become a town with high-quality physicians, and I'm so proud of this," he said.
