GI center to know: South Brooklyn Endoscopy Center

New York City-based South Brooklyn Endoscopy Center serves residents of the Brooklyn borough by performing 10,000 procedures annually.

The physician-owned ASC specializes in treating esophagus, stomach and colon-based diseases.

Fourteen physicians operate out of the center, performing a variety of procedures including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, esophageal dilation and hemorrhoid ligation, among others.

The American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities accredited the facility.
