The center is a division of San Francisco Gastroenterology, and its physicians perform their procedures at the San Francisco-based Golden Gate Endoscopy Center.
The center’s two physicians have performed more than 20,000 endoscopic procedures in their career.
The center offers patients the opportunity to pay for their colonoscopy out of pocket. The colonoscopy costs $1,492 for the procedure alone. If a biopsy has to occur or a polyp has to be removed the cost is $1,620.
