German Scientists Develop Endomicroscope to Aid Cancer Detection in Endoscopy

Scientists from the Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems in Dredsen, Germany, have developed a laser-based microscope head that fits on the end of an endoscope, which provides real-time in vivo diagnosis of cancer during endoscopy, according to a Fraunhofer news release.
