Gastrologix and the Digestive Health Network developed GastroAssure, a medical professional liability insurance platform for independent gastroenterology-focused practices.

Apollo Endosurgery posted a net loss of $8.8 million for the second quarter, despite growing worldwide sales of Overstitch, its endoscopic suturing system, by 40 percent.

Takeda is looking to trim debt from its $59 billion purchase of Shire by selling portions of its drug portfolio in western Europe.
