Dr. Patel completed his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania. His residency, internship and fellowship training were all completed at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, according to HealthGrades.

Dr. Patel, who has offices in Bluefield and Princeton, W. Va., also bought a second location but has not decided what he will do with that property. Melody Ponce, nurse practitioner and Dr. Patel’s office manager, said the new office will hopefully be open by March 1, depending on “whether or not we can get everything ready by then,” she said.
