Gastroenterologist Dr. Navin Kumar Receives ‘Doctor of the Year’ Award From Franciscan St. Margaret Health Nurses

Navin Kumar, MD, has received a “doctor of the year” award from nurses at one of the campuses of Indiana’s Franciscan St. Margaret Health, according to an NWI Times report.

Dr. Kumar, a gastroenterology/internal medicine specialist, received the St. Luke award from nurses from the health system’s Hammond campuses.

 

The annual award recognizes “excellence in service to patients and staff,” and is also known as the doctor of the year honor.

 

Dr. Kumar is a partner at Digestive Disease Centers, which has several locations in Indiana.
