Gastroenterologists on the Move: Drs. Maria Livshin and Elisa Valente Join CHA

Gastroenterology specialists Maria Livshin, MD, and Elisa Valente, MD, have joined the medical staff at Cambridge (Mass.) Health Alliance, according to a hospital news release.

Dr. Livshin sees patients at CHA’s Cambridge and Somerville Hospital campuses, while Dr. Valente is based at the Whidden Hospital campus in Everett.

Dr. Livshin, a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine, completed her internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston as well as a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass. She serves as an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Valente comes to CHA from Boston Medical Center, where she completed a fellowship in gastroenterology. Dr. Valente will help expand GI services at the Whidden campus. She graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She is an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School.
