Gastro Health names VP of clinical research

Miami-based Gastro Health has named Chris Fourment, MD, vice president of clinical research, according to an April 21 news release shared with Becker’s.

Dr. Fourment co-founded the department of clinical research and education at GI Alliance and served as the founder and CEO of both Clinical Research Strategy Group and Precision Research. His career spans academia and the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on advancing therapeutic development, according to the release. 

Gastro Health’s network includes more than 350 physicians across 150 locations in Alabama, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, Virginia and Washington.
