Robert Kaplan, MD, is joining Miami-based Gastro Health to work out of their Coral Springs, Fla., location.
Here's what you should know:
1. Dr. Kaplan earned his medical degree from New York City-based Weill Cornell University Medical College. He stayed at the institution for his residency and internship before completing a fellowship at Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania Health System.
2. He specializes in therapeutic endoscopy for biliary tract disease and nonsurgical therapy for hemorrhoidal disease.
3. Dr. Kaplan has 30-plus years of experience.
4. Gastro Health CEO Alejandro Fernandez said in a release, "I am very excited to welcome Dr. Kaplan. He provides a great blend of top-notch clinical education and knowledge along with a strong passion for providing devoted care."
