FUJIFILM showcases high-resolution imaging innovations and presents next-generation EBUS learning experience at ATS 2016

In a recent press release, The Endoscopy Division of FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc. announced they will showcase its latest endoscopic imaging solutions for pulmonologists at the annual meeting of the American Thoracic Society on May 13 – 18, 2016 at Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.

Fujifilm’s innovative Endobronchial Ultrasound System (EBUS)—specifically designed for advanced diagnosis and staging within the lungs—will be interactively on display.

Fujifilm will also host a presentation by interventional pulmonologist, Jason Akulian, M.D., MPH, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Akulian will present a session titled “FUJIFILM EBUS: The Next Generation of Endobronchial Ultrasound” which will focus on his experiences with the Fujifilm EBUS, including a hands-on demonstration. During his presentation, Dr. Akulian will discuss the unique features of the EBUS system and how the technology is assisting physicians in improving patient outcomes. Attendees will have a chance to interact with Dr. Akulian, ask questions, and discuss specific clinical challenges. The presentation will be held on Sunday, May 15 at 11:00 am and Monday, May 16 at 1:15 pm at the Fujifilm booth #627.
