Mr. Lapidus was named Lucid’s strategic adviser in June 2020 and will help Lucid execute long-term growth strategies in his new role.

He has more than three decades of experience leading diagnostic companies, also serving as founder and president of Cytyc.

“My primary professional quest, over more than three decades, has been to save lives through the early detection of precancer and cancer. I am joining the Lucid team because they are on that very same quest — to prevent deaths from esophageal cancer as we have done for cervical and colon cancer,” Mr. Lapidus said.
