Forest Canyon Endoscopy & Surgery Center Receives Recognition for Hazard Prevention

Forest Canyon Endoscopy and Surgery Center in Flagstaff, Ariz., earned recognition from the Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program, according to an azdailysun report.

To receive this honor, a site undergoes a visit from an OSHA representative to identify potential workplace hazards and then employees create a plan to prevent any possible issues. The site is also required to maintain employee illness or injury days below the national average for its industry.

The surgery center is the 26th provider to receive this recognition.
