First Alabama Pediatric Colorectal Clinic Opens

Children’s of Alabama Hospital has opened a pediatric colorectal clinic on its Children’s Russell Campus in Birmingham, the first clinic of its kind in the state, according to an AL report.

Mike Chen, MD, a board-certified internist and the hospital’s chief of surgery, will lead the clinic with Kirk Thame, MD, a board certified gastroenterologist and pediatric physician.
