Eugene (Ore.) Gastroenterology Consultants will open a new 34,000-square-foot clinic and ASC, The Register-Guard reported June 26.

The two-story building will house an endoscopy center on the first floor, with additional procedure rooms designed to expand capacity for screenings, diagnostic procedures and ongoing digestive health care. The second floor will contain clinic space with expanded exam rooms to improve appointment access and support provider growth.

The group, currently operating on the PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend campus in Springfield, Ore., is adding providers to reduce patient wait times, according to CEO Angela Wilson. The facility is expected to open in February 2027.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
