Three details:
1. As part of a $9 million expansion, the health system is adding an endoscopy center to the Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger East Hospital.
2. The expansion comes as the health system aims to reduce the time patients spend in the hospital, as well as to meet its projected patient volume of 43,000 inpatient admissions.
3. Erlanger is projecting it will take in $1.1 billion net patient revenue, or 61 percent growth over the next six years.
