AbbVie created a new position for its global philanthropy program. Melissa Walsh now serves as the company’s senior director of global philanthropy, according to a Boston Business Journal report.

The American Gastroenterological Association launched a new survey, funded by Ironwood Pharmaceuticals and Actavis, of the irritable bowel syndrome experience from the patient and physician perspectives.

EndoChoice closed its initial public offer and raised $94.9 million.

FUJIFILM stock closed at $37.65 on June 16.

Olympus presented an inaugural bike ride, the Tour de Tush, with the Colon Cancer Coalition.
