Here are four things to know:
1. As per the agreement, Chindex Medical will sell the company’s Full Spectrum Endoscopy system in the People’s Republic of China, including Hong Kong and Macao.
2. Chindex Medical is a full-service distributor of medical equipment in greater China.
3. It serves as the exclusive distributor for the daVinci Surgical Systems, MAKOPlasty orthopedic systems and NeuroLogica Portable CT Platforms.
4. It will begin distributing the Fuse system in the first quarter of 2016 in Hong Kong, and later this year in China, following approval by the Chinese FDA.
