East Alabama Health opens new GI center

Opelika-based East Alabama Health has opened the new Gastroenterology Center of East Alabama Medical Center to identify, treat and prevent gastrointestinal conditions and digestive issues.

J. Randall Newman, MD, will be the clinic’s providing physician, according to a Sept. 5 press release. 

Dr. Newman specializes in therapeutic endoscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography.
