Rohan Jeyarajah, MD, was appointed as Fort Worth, Texas-based TCU and UNTHSC School of Medicine's first academic chair of surgery.

Cleveland Clinic gastroenterologist Michelle Inkster, MD, PhD, was recognized by Continental Who's Who as a pinnacle lifetime member.

American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy President Steven Edmundowicz, MD, ASGE Governing Board member Jason Dominitz, MD, American Gastroenterological Association President David Lieberman, MD, and American College of Gastroenterology Board of Trustees member Renee Williams, MD, went to Washington, D.C., on March 12 to speak about colorectal cancer screening and barriers.

Conway (Ark.) Regional Gastroenterology Center added Owen Maat, MD.
