Samiollah Gholam, MD, joined Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth Medical Group's internal medicine team.

El Paso, Texas-based The Hospitals of Providence added Aleksandr Reznichenko, MD, and Ruben Ramirez-Vega, MD, to its staff to lead the city's first liver transplant program.

A Manhattan jury found New York City-based NYU Langone Hospital colorectal surgeon Christian Hirsch, MD, guilty of negligence after a patient died from infection.

UC Los Angeles G. Oppenheimer Center for Neurobiology of Stress and Resilience Executive Director Emeran Mayer, MD, will join uBiome's medical advisory board.
