Drs. Ben Stanger, David Vastola & more: 3 GI physicians making news

Here are three gastroenterologists making news this past week.

Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine appointed Ben Stanger, MD, PhD, director of the Penn Pancreatic Cancer Research Center.

A Florida Circuit Court found gastroenterologist David Vastola, DO, of a Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based practice, innocent after a patient claimed he allegedly rushed a colonoscopy missing his developing colon cancer.

Florence, S.C.-based McLeod Health added Davinderbir Pannu, MD, to the staff of McLeod Gastroenterology Associates.
