Dr. Vijay Singh Develops Treatment for Acute Pancreatitis

Vijay Singh, MBBS, a gastroenterologist at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, has developed a device for the treatment of acute pancreatitis, according to a News Medical report.

Mayo Clinic announced a five-year collaboration with Enterprise Ireland to advance medical technologies it has developed. Through the partnership, Dr. Singh’s device is in development at the National University of Ireland, Galway.

This device and others will benefit from funds for research and development. Enterprise Ireland has committed up to $16 million to the partnership.
