Dr. Shyam Dang joins Saline Memorial Hospital: 4 things to know

Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, Ark., added gastroenterologist Shyam Dang, MD, according to an Arkansas Business report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Dr. Dang previously served as a professor of medicine in the division of gastroenterology and hepatology at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

2. He also provided care at Central Arkansas VA Healthcare System in Little Rock.

3. His clinical interests include bile duct and pancreatic cancer, colon cancer prevention, Barrett’s esophagus and esophageal cancer.

4. He completed his GI, hepatology and nutrition fellowship at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
