2. The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons conferred its 2016 Master of Surgery on Dr. Beart.
3. Dr. Beart is the medical director of the Colorectal Surgery Institute at Dignity Health Glendale Memorial Hospital.
4. He has previously served as professor and chairman of the colorectal surgery department at University of Southern California in Los Angles. He is also a past president of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
5. He is focused on the advancement of colorectal disease treatment.
