Dr. Nathanson serves as the chief of the digestive diseases section, director of the Yale Liver Center and director of the Center for Cell and Molecular Imaging.
Additionally, he is the editor-in-chief of Hepatology and associated editor of the Journal of Investigative Medicine.
Dr. Nathanson’s research focuses on how calcium signals are regulated in the nucleus and cytoplasm, an important aspect of understanding liver regeneration after injury and liver cancer development.
