Dr. Michael Grossman joins McAlester Regional Health Center’s Southeast Clinic: 4 notes

McAlester (Okla.) Regional Health Center hired gastroenterologist Michael Grossman, MD, to its team, McAlester News-Capital reports.

Here’s what you need to know.

1. Dr. Grossman specializes in treating diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver.

2. His career started after he earned his medical degree from Howard University. He completed an internship and his residency in internal medicine at Washington D.C.-based Veterans Administration Hospital. Then he had a fellowship at the Veterans Administration Hospital.

3. After his training, Dr. Grossman served in the U.S. Air Force as the Chief of the Department of Medicine at Tinker Air Force Base.

4. Dr. Grossman was last employed by Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City.
