Dr. Louis Lataif earns internal medicine recertification: 4 notes

The American Board of Internal Medicine has recertified Louis E. Lataif Jr., MD, in internal medicine, according to a Northwest Georgia News report.

Here are four notes:

1. Dr. Lataif practices with Rome Gastroenterology Associates, a three-physician practice that he joined in 1996.

2. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

3. His work has been published in numerous journals, such as Hepatology and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

4. He completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago.
