Joel R. Montbriand, MD, gastroenterologist and CEO of Gastroenterology of the Rockies in Boulder, Colo., has been inducted into the Boulder County Business Hall of Fame, according to the Daily Camera.
Here are three highlights:
1. Dr. Montbriand, who has been in practice since 1988, grew Gastroenterology of the Rockies to include five additional Colorado locations in Longmont, Lafayette, Broomfield, Denver and Lakewood.
2. Dr. Montbriand earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis and completed his residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor.
3. Seven honorees were inducted into the 2016 hall of fame, which has welcomed 160 members since its inception in 1993.
