In the video, Dr. Johnson discusses why ACP issued the guidelines, what guidelines ACP evaluated and then analyzes ACP’s four specific recommendations and how they are “perhaps discordant with other guidelines,” he said.

Dr. Johnson concludes the video by sharing some general concerns he has with ACP’s guidelines and then encourages physicians to take advantage of National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month to discuss the importance of screening with patients.
