1. Dr. Cockerell earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed her residency at St. Louis University School of Medicine. She is a fellow at University of Missouri Health Care in Columbia.
2. She is a board-certified gastroenterologist who only treats adult patients.
3. Dr. Cockerell is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
