1. Dr. Karalis specializes in treating liver disease, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis among others.

2. He began his career after earning his medical degree from Carol Davila School of Medicine in Bucharest, Romania. He completed his residency at New York City-based Cornell University and fellowship at Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Wake Forest University.

3. Dr. Karalis will practice out of the healthcare facility’s community medical building.
