Here are four gastroenterologists in the news this past week.

The U.S. Department of Defense honored Pensacola (Fla.) Naval Hospital's Brent Lacey, MD, for his innovative hepatitis C screening program.

New York-based Tyme Technologies partnered with Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic to launch a pancreatic research program, to be led by Martin Fernandez-Zapico, MD.

The International Association of HealthCare Professionals included Reena J. Salgia, MD, and Jonathan Warman, MD, in The Leading Physicians of the World publication.
