Ardelyx's Tenapanor met its primary endpoint of reducing abdominal pain while increasing bowel movements during its second phase late-stage trial.

ColonaryConcepts, a device company, began a phase IIb trial of its colonoscopy preparation kit, EC Prep.

Fujifilm Medical Systems U.S.A. — Endoscopy plans to debut its new video endoscopy system Eluxeo at the World Congress of Gastroenterology at the American College of Gastroenterology from Oct. 13 to Oct. 18 in Orlando, Fla.

Olympus will serve as the exclusive distributor of surgical instrument developer Ruhof Healthcare's Guardian Endoscope Single-use Valve set through a recently announced partnership.

Olympus is expanding its EndoTherapy product line.
