CRH Medical increased revenue 15% for Q1 — 4 insights

CRH Medical announced its first quarter fiscal year 2018 earnings, posting revenues of $24.67 million.

Here's what you should know.

1. The company reported a 15 percent increase in year-over-year revenues.

2. The company's gastrointestinal anesthesia services accounted for the majority of that revenue, approximately $22.11 million, a 19 percent year-over-year increase.

3. For the quarter, CRH serviced 57,657 patients, an increase of 36 percent year over year.

4. The company's adjusted operating EBITDA was 12.41 million, a 12 percent year-over-year increase.

CRH CEO Edward Wright said, "We are extremely pleased with our first quarter results, which were positively impacted by the continued successful management and organic growth realized in the 16 anesthesia transactions we have integrated into CRH, in particular those acquired in 2017. The integration of Shreveport [La.], our most recent acquisition, and future acquisitions will continue to positively impact our business as we move forward."
