Connecticut gastroenterologist Dr. Donald Gordon dies

Gastroenterologist Donald Gordon, MD, 68, died suddenly Aug. 21, the Fairfield Daily Voice reports.

Dr. Gordon was a private practice gastroenterologist for 30 years. He earned his medical degree from Atlanta-based Emory School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. He completed a fellowship at Augusta-based Medical College of Georgia.

Dr. Gordon was highly regarded in his community. He enjoyed fishing, scuba diving and watching boxing. He is survived by his wife, his daughter, his two sons and several other family members.
