Atlanta-based CRH Anesthesia, a subsidiary of CRH Medical Corp., has acquired a majority interest in Southern Colorado Anesthesia Associates, which provides anesthesia for GI procedures in the Colorado Springs market, according to an Oct. 6 news release.

The deal creates a strategic partnership with Associates in Gastroenterology, which serves patients alongside Southern Colorado Anesthesia Associates at two ASCs in the Colorado Springs area. It adds 10 GI physicians to CRH’s network, marks the company’s entry into the Colorado Springs market and expands its Colorado presence to 17 locations.

CRH has completed more than 50 anesthesia acquisitions and serves more than 150 ASCs in 18 states.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
