Here’s what you should know:
1. The measure, as well as total per capita cost and Medicare spending per beneficiary, will be tested through October.
2. Physician groups treating at least 10 Medicare patients with lower gastrointestinal hemorrhaging can view confidential reports with information on cost measure performance.
3. Gastroenterologists will have the opportunity to share meaningful feedback on the measure and the associated report.
4. CMS will consider the feedback as it potentially refines the measure.
